He views himself as the ultimate evolution, superior to both pure gargoyles and humans. His intelligence allows him to outmaneuver his creators and even Goliath in complex schemes, often manipulating events from the shadows or leading his own faction of rogue hybrids known as The Hunters.

In Their Own Story

The rain slicked the rooftop of the Xanatos building, reflecting the neon glow of Manhattan below. Thailog stood at the edge, his wings folded tight against a frame that was both familiar and alien. He watched the city with eyes that held no warmth, only the cold calculation of a mind that had solved every equation presented to it. 'They fear me because I am what they tried to make,' he whispered to the wind, his voice carrying the weight of two worlds. Below, sirens wailed, but Thailog smiled; chaos was simply another variable in his grand design.
